Race Maps
It is the athlete's responsibility to know the course. We will do our best to mark the course and have volunteers on the course, but it is the racers responsibility to know the course. Racers will be biking and running through town and with traffic, so headphones are not allowed during the race. Helmets must be worn during the bike portion of the race, or you will not ride!
You will be riding with traffic on all areas of the bike course and running on some roads with traffic. Be prepared!
SWIM: 500 meters
Swimming will take place in the swimming pool at the Glenrock Middle School. You will be assigned a lane with 3-4 other people. Each person in the lane will receive a different colored swimming cap so the lap counters can keep an accurate lap count of each athlete in the pool. During registration you will be asked to give an estimated time that you can swim 500 meters. This will help place you in the correct wave. The first wave of swimmers will start at 7:00 am. Waves will be posted a few days before the race.
1. Be on the pool deck 30 minutes prior to your estimated start time which will be provided closer to race day
2. Mandatory body marking prior to entering the pool area (body markings will take place during packet pickup starting at 6:00 am race morning).
3. Those with later estimated starts, be mindful of athletes who are racing and stay clear of the swim/bike transition
Transition Map - Pick up your packet with your bib number and for your bike frame in they gym. Body markings will take place inside the school in the gym area as you pick up your bib packet on race morning starting at 6:00 am. You will receive your timing chip when you line up for the swimming portion of the event. Chips will not be handed out before you line up for the swim so it does not get lost or you step on a timing pad. Transition area for bike set up will be open at 5:30 am and will close at 6:30 am so we can start lining up the first swim waves.

BIKE MAP: 10 miles. Headphones are not allowed on the bike route due to open traffic. Road bikes are not required and you are allowed to use a mountain bike or whatever bike you are comfortable on. Be advised you will be riding with traffic throughout the entire bike ride. Please see and get comfortable with the bike map. There will be law enforcement at 3rd and Birch for when you cross the street and also at the turn around point on Hwy. 26.
